Pros and cons of Steve Reich’s Clapping Music app for iPhone and iPad
Steve Reich’s Clapping Music app good for
Very good! I am rhythmist and I strongly recommend this game.
Love the ability to get into this piece of music. Give it a shot--its challenging for sure!
I encountered one bug. Once I went into practice mode, tried it briefly, then attempted to go back to medium mode, but it was stuck in practice mode. A restart seemed to fix the problem.
I would love it if this app presented the part in standard notation (as an option). Would be way easier (as a practicing musician).
Lastly, I shared my results a couple times on Facebook, and challenged my friends to beat my score. They had no clue what game it was. Are you kidding me? I share my result on fb and the post gives NO indication what app it is? Devs--that is crazy. Crazy. CRAZY.
The game is great, so addictive. But the app itself crashes and I have to reinstall it again every time, losing record of my scores.
Non stop beeping on iOS9. Plz update ASAP. Great app, though....
Hello Guys!
App is absolutely awesome!
But something went wrong when I opened it with new iOS :(
Dont be turned off by the music needs reviewing this app. Its fun for everyone. Essentially guitar hero for this one piece of music. My only complaint is sometimes theres a hiccup or some lag so my tap registers a bit late. Im on an iPhone 6 so it could be better on a 6s. Dunno. Fun app for free tho. Cant complain too much!
Some bad moments
Hello,
Ive got a problem with the app, every time I launch it, when I quit, the app crash... The only solution is to uninstall it and install it back... Please fix it!!
Without this problem the rate would be 5 stars... Its highly addictive and really cool! Keep going!
Loved this... until it started systematically crashing on startup.
I installed and started the training exercises; this is the good part. Im a bit sad that it doesnt use the iPad microphone to hear real hands clapping: you have to tap with one finger on the iPad.
Then things went horribly wrong: the app crashes and wont re-open unless I re-install it completely.
Waiting for a serious bug fix before I re-install this app again.
After updating, this app does not work.
I touch the apps icon and view credit of touchpress.com but app suddenly quit.
My iPhone 6 plus is work on iOS8.4.
I hope solve this problem because I love Reich and Clapping Music.
Latest update causes it to crash upon opening. This was a great app until the update- Id love to play it again but unfortunately I cant.
It began to crash within a half second of opening.
Before that, super entertaining and challenging for this Reich fan.
Please fix so I can keep playing!
